Sberbank says RAS net profit rises 40.1% to 125.5 bln rbl in Dec
MOSCOW, Jan 17 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russia’s top bank Sberbank increased by 40.1% on the year to 125.5 billion rubles in December 2022, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the bank said in a statement on Tuesday.
In 2022, the bank’s net profit plummeted to 300.2 billion rubles from 1.237 trillion rubles in 2021, according to the statement.
Individual client account balances with the bank rose by 8.2% in December 2022 and in 2022 to 18.3 trillion rubles as of December 31.
Corporate client account balances with the bank grew by 0.8% in December but fell by 0.7% in 2022 to 8.7 trillion rubles.
The bank’s retail loan portfolio increased by 1.7% in the month and by 12.9% in the year to 12 trillion rubles as of December 31.
The corporate loan portfolio rose by 0.5% in December and by 12.4% in the year to 18.8 trillion rubles.
